I think it's ironic that sourceforge has such terrible default forum software (given the number of potential developers.) Don't they offer the option to host a phpbb board? Can you admins set one up? The temporal context forking thread has become unintentionally ironic, as it has exploded into temporal forks of its' own. Each post seems to derail into its own rabbit hole, and it makes reading through the linear order of events almost impossible. phpBB reads linearly, allowing people to easily quote and format their posts, and the default theme is comfortable and easy on the eyes.
There is some incredibly good discussion going on, so it would be a shame not to encourage it in the best possible way. :)

The total lack of draft saving functionality has caused me to lose many posts I've invested time and care in. Due to the lack of features and simple readability, the default sourceforge forums are not fit for serious communication.
It's kinda pitiful for sourceforge to be in the state that it's in.

We need to vote for that and besides I'm not sure how to install it.
