Category: IPMI Direct plugin >Group: 2.5.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Carl McAdams (carlmc1) Assigned to: Pierre Sangouard (psangouard) Summary: INVALID REQUEST not allowed return for EventLogStateSet I.D. Initial Comment: The SAFTEST HPI Working Group has determined that all eventlog must support EventLogStateSet for disabling the system eventlog entries. Previous conformance tests have been written to accept SA_ERR_HPI_INVALID_REQUEST. This behavior is being taken out of the tests. In the future, the SA_ERR_HPI_INVALID_REQUEST return will fail the test. Please make sure the plug-in allows disablling of the event log by using saHpiEventLogStateSet call. This bug is plug-in specific and is being repeated for each of the plug-ins. If you have found that no changes are necessary, feel free to requect this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Renier Morales (renierm) Date: 2006-01-26 17:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=660960 Pierre, Can we close this bug? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Carl McAdams (carlmc1) Date: 2005-08-08 17:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1000392 Note: This is not an issue, so long as the RDR->sensorRec->EnableCtrl is set to FALSE when saHpiSensorEnableSet is not supported. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=532251&aid=1252826&group_id=71730 |
