Category: Dynamic Simulator plugin >Group: 3.1.x Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Fred Battle (fbattle) Assigned to: Lars Wetzel (larswetzel) Summary: enhance simulation.data for diversity Initial Comment: For the next release of openhpi, I request a more diverse version of simulation.data. Specifically, I would think simulation.data would be more useful if the 6 sensors it comes with were different. Different types, different saHpiSensorSupportedEventStates, different saHpiSensorEventCtrl values, more diversity in the saHpiSensorReadableThresholds and saHpiSensorWritableThresholds, different saHpiSensorReadingType. And how about one with OEM data? and the nonlinear flag set to true? Same for annunciators, announcements, watchdogs. In general, I'm requesting the simulation.data file use as many different values as possible. This will better present all that we support, as well as potentially expose more areas to scrutiny. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Lars Wetzel (larswetzel) Date: 2011-05-19 13:04 Message: Two inventory fields are not correct in the first version of the shm500.data. I fixed it. But please don't wonder, I changed also some strings for debugging purposes. These strings are not relevant only the inventory fields with invalid characters. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Anton Pak (avpak) Date: 2011-05-16 06:07 Message: Attached PPS ShMM-500 simulation data. Not all resources were created correctly: for example slot resource were not created at all. Seems there were some issues with simulation data creation or parsing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=532254&aid=3294107&group_id=71730 |
