This email concerns OpenHPI 1.0 and it's compile on Itanium systems. We had an open bug from SuSE that OpenHPI 1.0 does no compile on IA64 or = any x_86_64 bit platform especially the following components: Hpi_shell, Ipmidirect, Marshalling, Remote_client and daemon. They provided a patch which fixed most of the issues, however, some are = not addressed. I put out an additional release 1.0.1 which compiles and runs on IA64 = and x_86_64 however, there are some components which don't compile = still. Ipmidirect does not. Do I have any volunteer (Thomas or Pier) do work on it please? I have made arrangements with OSDL to provide us with a platform to = develop on. All you need to do is register as a user/associate at = http://www.osdl.org/login_form and let me know what your user name/id is = and I will grant you access to the Itanium system they provided. This needs to be addresses soon and will apply to OpenHPI-2.0 as well.
