[Openhpi-devel] OpenHPI 1.0 and IA64

This email concerns OpenHPI 1.0 and it's compile on Itanium systems.

We had an open bug from SuSE that OpenHPI 1.0 does no compile on IA64 or =
any x_86_64 bit platform especially the following components:
Hpi_shell, Ipmidirect, Marshalling, Remote_client and daemon.

They provided a patch which fixed most of the issues, however, some are =
not addressed.

I put out an additional release 1.0.1 which compiles and runs on IA64 =
and x_86_64 however, there are some components which don't compile =
still.
Ipmidirect does not.

Do I have any volunteer (Thomas or Pier) do work on it please?

I have made arrangements with OSDL to provide us with a platform to =
develop on.
All you need to do is register as a user/associate at =
http://www.osdl.org/login_form and let me know what your user name/id is =
and I will grant you access to the Itanium system they provided.

This needs to be addresses soon and will apply to OpenHPI-2.0 as well.
