I do not object against necessity of rotation of traces! I use system logrotate since beginning of May 2003. Don't know how can be implemented logrotation on Windows boxes, but on unix/Linux boxes there were no problems at all while you have inserted rotation directly in GK! As to Winzip - don't know, but wellknown Windows Commander have plugins which allow to create or at least look through the following kinds of archives: .gz, .tar, .tgz, .rpm. Don't know what about .bz2, have not tried this kind, but I don't see any problem with support of archivers in the whole!
