I grabbed the current list of subscriptions to the EXISTING openh323 mailing list and asked Source Forge to add then to open323-devel and openh323-user. Unfortunately they also added it to openh323-cvs which I did not want. So, I am truly amazed that so many people claim to have been "illegally" subscribed. All people on the new list MUST have been on the old. I did not get mail addresses from a spam list or picked random addresses out of the air! The only scenario I can think of is if you unsubscribed from the original mailing list and I accidentllly resubscribed you becuase your name was not removed from the original mailing lists addresses then I apologise. This was certainly unintended and is in the category of "computer foo" that happens from time to time. Please do not attack people who are giving up there time for no recompense (both us who support openh323 and the good people at Source Forge) that is a truly excellent way for those people to STOP HELPING. Believe me, I for one am not far off that state! P.S. This is not directed at you Horacio, you are one of the few people that actually has put back something into the project. It is just your mail was last in the chain. Robert Jongbloed. |
