This a good idea. However, I am afraid I would break people's production
scripts without much notice. I am thinking I'll comment out the shp_*
entries in the "udxt". This way it would not be available by default and it
won't appear when you do a "q udc"; I'll also remove the documentation from
our website. However, for those who would need time to revise their
production scripts they could re-activate the shape extensions by removing
the comments. At least until the next release. Reasonable?
