Yes, your interpretation is correct. However, it just means that the "make
install" did not complete without errors. Sometimes it just fails to install
the manual pages, However, it is usually a good idea to check why it did not
complete. For example,
% make install ALLDIRS=udunits
may reveal something easy to fix.
