Thanks for the quick response.

1) Are you building the opengrads sources or the vanilla grads from cola?
I used grads from cola, tried several versions (2.1, 2.0, 1.9, etc)

2) Did you build your own supplibs or are using the open grads pre-compiled
ones?
I build supplibs (http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/supplibs.html). Since
readline until pkgconfig.

3) What is your platform? I mean "uname -a", "ldd --version"
Linux pc4 3.13.0-24-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 23:30:00 UTC 2014
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
