[Opengrads-devel] NetCDF-4 opendap support and gadap

Hi Jennifer,

    What are your plans for dealing with gadap when adopting the new
NetCDF-4 with built-in OPeNDAP support? So far, I have been using NetCDF-4
with an external (full) OPeNDAP library (libdap), which also has what gadap
needs.  Would we still be able to use the full libdap alongside NetCDF-4
with built-in OPeNDAP? Or else, are you rewriting gadap? From some early
exchange I had with Dennis, I was under the impression that we would not
have any other option but to rewrite gadap.
