[Opengrads-devel] running CVS command on cygwin on Window Vista.

I installed Cygwin on my Window Vista.  But when I try the following command using 'bash' on Cygwin to download Grads development code, I get an error (Window Vista pops up a window and says: cvs.exe has stop working ).  
 
Has anyone got suggestion?   Thanks,

>> cvs -z3 -d :ext:ped...@op...:/cvsroot/opengrads co -r GRADS2_DEV_BRANCH grads

If I type just 'cvs -version',  it also failed.
