Arlindo,

I don't think cumbersome is the right word.  I think just not having  
any experience in contributing to something like that was the main  
thing that slowed the process for me.  I didn't know much about the  
correct syntax, but having access to the earlier submitted recipes  
helped.   I think the fixed format works well.  It keeps things  
simple, but still ample room to explain what you are trying to do.
