This is very helpful. I passed some of these patches to Jennifer but I
may have missed something. Will investigate.

The shp_line command is an OpenGrADS extension, and extensions are not
yet supported in GrAS v2. There is no technical reason why they could
not be ported to grads v2. However, we need to coordinate with COLA so
that we have an uniform way to introduce these extensions. I'll keep
you posted.
