Hi, I'm tryinf to compile fe41. I'm using gcc 4.9.3 and openmpi 1.10.2. For some third party codes, I keep getting the error:

invalid relocation type 42

It happens in openmpi, mesquite and metis. I searched and some ppl said it's due to binutil version < 2.25. However, mine is v2.26 and I also tested 2.33 but error is still there.
