The floatingObject tutorial that comes with the OF extention crashes in parallel mode soon after start but can smoothly finish in series mode. The problematic case has been attached where the launching script has been rewritten to suit parallel running. The enclosed case has been tested in ext-3.1 and the latest ext-3.2 but both turned out failure. The respective log files are also included.

Please note: we are having constant difficulties in running dynamics motion solvers (typical example is interDyMFoam) in parallel mode.

btw, my compiler was: GCC 4.4.7.
