The #exaFOAM project has prepared a set of #HPC benchmark cases, to be released #opensource via the #OpenFOAM HPC Commitee’s Git repository. Today we announce the first of our two Grand Challenge cases - The DLR Confined Jet High Pressure Combustor. This#CFD case stems from theexperiment ofM. Severin(2019)at the @DLR Institute of #Combustion Technology. The burner is based on the Recirculation-Stabilized Jet Flame (RSJF) concept, better known as FLOX(R). Setups for three meshes sized 3M, 24M and 489M cells are provided. Restartfields will be made available shortly.
