For instance, I have a line chart with two lines: one for population and one for income. It would be nice if the tool tip text for the population line could be set (via the set_tool_tip method) to "Millions of People: #value#" and the one for income showed "Thousands of Dollars per Year: #value#". Right now it seems to only allow one tool tip string per graph.

I'll second this request. We use both y axis on may of our graphs and they often have different formats so having two separate tool tips (one for each axis) would be very useful.
