I just installed the beta client with SolidWorks 2016, a few things I immediately noticed:

1) The Editparts dialog box has to be stretched wider to access all the buttons, and now it's wider than many monitors. The dialog box needs to be narrowed up.
2) For whatever reason I can only input numerical values for description parameters, this is through the web interface. I get "The following fields are invalid" with string values. While that is a separate issue, with the SW integration I don't get an error message or a warning, it just ignores my input.
3) I opened up a part and related drawing from outside the system and selected AssignDocName from the part. The screen flashed but no errors or dialog boxes popped up, the button appears to accomplish nothing. I used EditParts to get the part file in to PLM but I have no idea how to get the drawing in sharing the same attributes. If I select AssignDocName from the drawing a dialog box indicates "Document referred :", lists the part the drawing references, and then "It requires to be saved to database before to proceed." I don't know what it is asking for, but the part is saved in the database and saving the drawing in the database is the goal. Something doesn't seem right.

    3)The process is veri simple
    1) open the 3d document and assignDocumentData
    2) use the cad save button
    3) use the integration save button
    4) open the drawing
    5) refer the drawing to the new 3d document
    6) press the assingdocname
    * 7) save the drawing
