Save
Save operation will be performed on current document and provides to save all infos in a file, on OpenERP server.
During save operations will be provided automatically preview bitmap and in case of 2D Layout / Drawings it will be stored the pdf printout of whole drawing.
Save command provides to save info about Part and Document, relations between Parts (if we are saving an assembly) and link between Part and Document.
Before to start Save operations, it will be checked if current files need to be saved, locally. This behavior, it has needed to save manually local file with editor save command, has wanted to ensure to manage correct options (different for each CAD system) about local save operations.
In case of 2D Layouts they can ask to be saved locally, because of their interactions with 3D Model, in this case message has to be understood like an advice to avoid to loose work done.
Save operation leaves the Document in Check-Out condition, so an explicit Check-In is requested to allow that Document could be modified from another user.
No Save operation has allowed on Check-In document, or when a document is in a status different from "Draft", or when a document is in Check-Out condition for another user.
A checked-in document has to be taken in Check-Out for current user, before to save it on OpenErp server.
