The final version of OpenEMM 2015 R3 was just released at SourceForge:

Release R3 offers the eagerly awaited support for MTA Postfix as an alternative to Sendmail. For further details please have a look at file CHANGELOG.txt.

The Install and Administration Guide for OpenEMM has already been extended by instructions on how to enabling Postfix support. You will find the updated version 1.3 of the guide here:

OpenEMM 6.2 lets you throttle the speed of mailing delivery, offers an unlimited size for attachments, allows the global setting of follow-up actions for link clicks and provides some performance improvements (CMS and database). And all known bugs are fixed in this release. For the full list of features and bug fixes please have a look at the ChangeLog file.

Furthermore, we enhanced the Install Guide with info on how to install OpenEMM on Ubuntu and with a separate section for database tuning. You can find the latest OpenEMM Install Guide in folder "OpenEMM documentation", subfolder "Documentation (latest versions)".

The final release of OpenEMM 6.1 is available now.

OpenEMM 6.1 comes with a slight GUI rebrush, an update of the import wizard, improved handling of deleted target groups and various bug fixes. For the full list of features and bug fixes please have a look at the ChangeLog file.

You can upgrade from OpenEMM 5.4.x, 5.5.x or 6.0.x using the online update feature. In any case, please read file UPDATE.txt in directory /home/openemm afterwards to finish the updates process successfully - even if no warning or error message has been reported.... read more

For those of you who already use OpenEMM: online update to 6.0 has been enabled. Please follow the displayed instructions because you may have to do one or two things manually to finish the upgrade successfully.

OpenEMM is a feature-rich enterprise software for professional newsletter and e-mail marketing. It offers sophisticated bounce management, link tracking, statistics and a scripting feature to set up transaction mailings (data, event and time triggered).

We just released version 5.5.1 of OpenEMM. OpenEMM fixes all known bugs and offers a feature to automatically remove old bounce information from the OpenEMM database to keep the database small (see install guide 5.5.1 for details). Furthermore, the fields "gender" and "mailtype" are no longer mandatory for imports.... read more

Finally, we released version 5.5.0 of OpenEMM. OpenEMM offers some helpful new features like statistic charts showing mail openings over time (week/day) and the possibility to delete recipients from the database. The format and size of lists for mailings, templates and recipients can be changed now - thanks to some AJAX wizardy.

Furthermore, OpenEMM comes with a lowered memory footprint and the Linux version does not need Sendmail any longer. And if you decide to keep Sendmail it can be shared with other applications now. Last not least, we introduced a new webservice method named "updateSubscriber".... read more

Users of RC1 or RC2 can use the online update feature of OpenEMM 5.4.0 to update with a single click to the final version. The release of the VMX version of OpenEMM 5.4.0 is scheduled for the end of March.

We just released OpenEMM 5.3.2 which is a pure bug fix version and fixes all known bugs and flaws of OpenEMM 5.3.1. Please see the ChangeLog for details.

The VMX version of OpenEMM 5.3.2 for VM player will be released next week.

Because of a lot of changes for OpenEMM 5.4 we will continue to maintain the 5.3 line for some time as our latest stable branch. The planned release date of OpenEMM 5.4 RC1 (release candidate 1) is January 2008 and the planned release date of OpenEMM 5.4 GA (general availability) is February 2008.

We just released OpenEMM 5.3.1 which introduces some minor new features, an experimental version of OpenEMM webservices (methods and signatures are final, but not heavily tested) and fixes all bugs and flaws found by the development team or reported by users via our SourceForge bugtracker. The Windows version is scheduled to be released this Friday and the VMware release will follow next week.

The VMware release and the Windows version are scheduled to be released this Friday.

The final release of OpenEMM 5.1 for Windows (native Windows version) is available now.

The Windows version offers the same features and has the same look & feel as our "normal" OpenEMM version for Linux. Installation is very easy: see

The VMware release (especially for Windows users) is scheduled to be released by the end of this week. And there is much more to come ...

OpenEMM is now available for Windows users thanks to a special VMware version. This version requires the VMware Player (which is available as a free download at http://www.vmware.com\) for the operating systems Linux and Windows. Only minimal adjustments are required for both operating systems in order to run the VMware version of OpenEMM and the software no longer needs to be installed from scratch.... read more
