As I mentioned in the other email, I was able to get it to build the 
.NET example from that article.  If you are seeing other problems, 
please use the PROBLEM-REPORT-FORM so we know exactly what your 
configuration is and we can have a chance at recreating it here. Since I 
was able to get OpenDDS to build, I wonder if the changes you are making 
are still actually necessary with the current versions of ACE+TAO and 
OpenDDS.
