Just to update the info on this.

I deleted everything  both the DDS directory and the ACE_Wrappers directory.

Repeated what I thought I did before but this time everything compiled.
So its not clear what the original problem was but at-least it works for me now.

There is a new problem but I'll post it in a separate message so I can change the 
subject line.

Hi WIll, 

OpenDDS has a dependency on ACE & TAO. I'm not familiar with the tools that automatically pull & build those suites but I know that there are several build variations used to avoid redundant building. Anyway, can you send in a PROBLEM-REPORT-FORM and tell us what version of OpenDDS you are building, from what source? Also what steps did you do prior to running make?

What version of ACE/TAO did it pull?
