#58 installation/config help on Debian

I am trying to install opendchub on debain, and I am running into some trouble. I have followed the steps in the documentation so far, but when I run make, it runs to completetion without error, but I can't tell if the hub is running. Therefore I have no way to tell which port it's running on to administrate the hub.
