LGPL - you get the source and can use it in a commercial product if you wish. Is there a public sever available? The IRC bot > was cool. How hard is that to setup? I understand that there is controversy over the use of GCC as the source of such representations (for use in a non-GPL software) and I have promised Richard Stallman that I would encourage you to obtain the same information from alternative source code parsers, ANTLR being one. As we get further along on the WHI layer, we will encourage updates to our public OpenCyc servers, and the exchange of knowledge among users who host their own OpenCyc servers on Linux or Win32. > > What about GUIs? Have you thought of GRAPH LAYOUT engines via an API? We will release a java graph tool that displays the Cyc ontology in an arc and node fashion. Again you will get the source (LGPL). -- =========================================================== Stephen L.
