I am building some ontology which will be used in the NLP area; therefore, I wanna learn some structure from the openCyc. I tried to download the xml version of openCyc from the website and load it into protege, although i know it will take a long time. But, after loading 150000 triples, the protege always pop up error of out of memory. I just wanna ask any solutions can fix up this error.

Depending on the platform you're working on there're several ways to adjust the maximum memory java is allowed to use with Protégé.
The simpliest method is to edit the launch script to launch protégé with option -Xmx800M for example.
I hope you'll be more lucky than my because I've been unable to load it correctly because of synthactical errors.
