Hi folks I'm sending this mail to the both Tech and Users lists since I'm not sure which one is more suitable for my question. The questions I have is not about openCryptoki itself but about the PKCS#11 OpenSSL engine patch which is listed on openCryptki project's page on SF.net (http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencryptoki). Below are my questions: Is there some mailing list or contact person supporting this patch? Does anybody currently work on this project? Do they plan to make such patch for newer versions of OpenSSL? Is there a CVS tree for this patch? Gev |

Mr. Great, The current PKCS#11 engine patch is not supported (but made available for developers who want to play with it), and is waiting to be updated to openssl 0.9.8, where it makes much more sense (due to some updates in openssl). The opencryptoki maintainers are planning on releasing a new version of the PKCS#11 engine in the coming months. Kent Thanks for prompt response. Do opencryptoki maintainers already started working on new version of PKCS#11 engine? Will they open mailing list for this project? I have a couple of issues with current PKCS#11 engine patch and would like to submit them for solution in the future release. Is it meaningful to send them to this list or I'll better wait while distinct mailing list for that patch will be opened (if it will)? Yeah, a new list probably wouldn't be a bad idea, since we also host the libica engine. I'll create one. Keep an eye out for ope...@li... and post there... No, work hasn't yet begun on an 0.9.8 version of the pkcs#11 engine... Hi, I tried to download this engine and got the following error: Could not read file. Go back. /home/ftp/pub/sourceforge//s/so/sourceforge/opencryptoki/openssl-0.9.7c-PKCS11_engine-aug152005.patch Sep 12, 2005 14:51 I tried to use different download sites and got the same error. Any ideas? Thanks, Qiyan |
