Development of Open Cricket may have seemed slow as of late but I have been making some large structure changes and haven't been checking them into CVS. I have now finished these changes and have checked it all in.
New features include:
Creating, opening and closing a database file.
Adding, editing and deleting players.
I will be releasing an alpha version soon, so you will be able to preview Open Cricket without having to downloading the source from CVS.
The source code for Open Cricket has been committed into the SourceForge CVS repository. This is currently the only way to download Open Cricket. If you would like to download Open Cricket via CVS use the following commands:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@opencricket.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/opencricket login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@opencricket.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/opencricket co -P opencricket
I have purchase and registered the domain opencricket.net and I am in the process of creating a website for this project.
Welcome to the Open Cricket Project. Open Cricket is a cricket scoring system design by Tim Millard. It is designed to be cross-platform and easy to use. It will allow cricket matches to be scored live or be entered from a scorebook. Statistics and graphs will then be able to be produced from the match details. No releases have been made avaliable yet as it is still in the very early stages of development. Keep an eye on this post for the first release of Open Cricket.
