    Dear SourceForge,

I have log in in this help forum because I have to develop a system using
ethernet-Powerlink and actually I need some further help. Thank you.

My system is based on POWERLINK network with the following nodes:

Node-ID : B&R X20 POWERLINK Controller with the following modules (in this
    order)

    X20BC0083 X20 Bus Controller POWERLINK

X20PS9400 24 VDC power supply module for BC

    X20DO2321 12 outputs, 24 VDC, 0.5 A, sink, 1-wire connection

X20DI2377 2 inputs, 24 VDC, sink, configurable input filter, 2 event counters
    50 kHz

Node-ID : I don't know yet but I will set directly moving some switches in the
    hardware.

As far as I know, I will have a system compose by a MN ( XP 32bit computer )
and CN ( the one I expecified before ). I have been looking for some examples
in kalycito's web site and there is one pretty similar. There is full
documentation and also a readme file, but I have got some queries yet.

The first step is to create the 'cdc' and the 'xap' files using
openCONFIGURATOR. I have some queries in this step:

To configure the MN I think that the default XDD/XCC file would be enough but
I am not sure. Here I have to set

some variables up, but I don't know wich ones.

With the controlled node, I should import an XDD/XCC file provided by the
seller but I haven't found anything in the net, so my

question is: would be possible to configure on my own the CN configuration
file starting from the default configuration or

I have to ask B&R automation for this file ?

    Best Regards,

    Hi

B&R provides a tool "FieldbusDESIGNER" from which you can create an xdd file
    for your CN configuration.

It can be downloaded at http://www.br-automation.com/cps/rde/xchg/br-
    productcatalogue/hs.xsl/services_168539_ENG_HTML.htm

Use the generated xdd with openCONFIGURATOR to generate cdc and xap.

Let us know if you face any issues.

    Dear Kalycito,

I have created the xdd file using "FieldbusDESIGNER", but now, I am having
some problems just when I have tried to build the project in openCONFIGURATOR.
    This pop-up appears:

"Visual Studio Just in Time Debugger - An unhandled win32 exception occurred
    in tclsh85.exe -

    Possible debuggers:

-New instance of Visual Studio 2008"

and If click Ok it opens the visual studio 2008 and the next pop-up appears:

"Unhandled exception at 0x01f9306e in tclsh85.exe: 0xC0000094: Integer
    division by zero"

So I have checked on the forum and I have found some similar troubles but it
hasn't helped me much for solving my problem.

I have tried to debug another project and I have been able to do it.

    My computer has installed:

    1.- ActiveTcl8.5.9.0.293667-win32-ix86-threaded

    2.- Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

    3.- OpenCONFIGURATOR 1.1.1

    Best Regards,

    Hi Iker,

It seems that you are using a older version of openCONFIGURATOR.

Please use the latest openCONFIGURATOR-1.2.0 with openPOWERLINK-1.7 and let us
know if you face any issues.

Meanwhile send us the XDD file and the project for further analysis.

    Best Regards,

    Kalycito Powerlink-team
