error instaling openCONFIGURATOR <Act...

    Dear SourceForge,

    I'm having some problems when I have tried to install openCONFIGURATOR. When I
    am installing ActiveTcl 8.5.9.0 I get this message:

    "unable to find attached database in basekit
    'C:\DocumentsandSetting\Iker....\ActiveTcl
    8.5.9.0.293667-win32-ix86-threaded.exe' ".

    The WinPcap_4_0_2 is allready installed.

    How can I solve it ?

    Hi,

    What Windows version are you using? Is it 32 or 64 bit?

    Did you try to download and install a version from the ActiveState homepage?

    Hello,

    The problem in installing can be due to incomplete download.

    It is already discussed in the activestate website.

    Below in quotes, is the explanation given by Mr. Andreas Kupries

    "The executable is a runtime with a metakit database attached containing all
    the files to install, etc.

    This database seems to have been stripped somewhere.Maybe your download was
    incomplete ?"
