How to map objects to MN PRes TPDO?

    Hi,

We would like to configure a TPDO channel sent by the MN to transmit information valid for all CNs.
I therefore enabled the "Transmits PRes"-Property of the MN.

For configuring the TPDO I selected the MN, switched to the TPDO tab and tried to configure a broadcast TPDO (send to node: 0). However I always get the following message: "Mapping operation is not supported for managing or redundant managing node.".
Also when performing the mapping manually, openconfigurator simply replaces the "send-to-node" broadcast-value with some other node-number.

I wonder, what is the correct way to configure the object mapping for a MN-PRes broadcast?

Thanks you in advance and best regards, Clemens

    short follow up:

This seems to be a limitation in openconfigurator.
What does work however is to specify a RPDO on a CN with sender "MN Pres(240)", openconfigurator will create dummy entries (0xa040) which can be corrected manually.

    Hi Clemens,
In fact this is a limitation of OC because using the PResMN without PResChaining has not been a major use case. Normally you would map the data for each node not careing about transmitting data duplicates. I will take a look whether a change is feasable for me to enable this feature.
