    Hello,

I'm trying to use openPOWERLINK and openCONFIGURATOR to communicate with a Baldor MicroFlex e100.
I get the XDD file from Baldor and trying to build my project in openCONFIGURATOR and I get the following error:
"PDO Mapped Module Index Not Found, Index:0000 in Node ID:16".

As I'm new to POWERLINK, I am not able to understand the problem, can you help me ?

The XDD can be download here: http://www.baldormotion.com/support/SupportMe/Firmware/EDS/eplxddv1_7.zip

    Regards

    Hello Guillaume,

In your xdd file the mappings are not present in 1600/1A00 entries. Map the required objects and try it. For more details refer the Ethernet POWERLINK
Communication Profile Specification document section 6.4.9. You can download it from the EPSG website

The sample mapping will be like this actualValue="0x0020002000026000"

Please revert back if you need further details

    Regards,
    Gokul

I have similar problem and i don't know how to exactly solve it.

The XDD check utility from epl webpage say me:

Line 185, object 1600h: Cumulative length of all mapped objects (0bits) must not exceed the limit of NaNbits (defined in 1F98.02).
Line 194, object 1A00h: Cumulative length of all mapped objects (0bits) must not exceed the limit of NaNbits (defined in 1F98.01).

    Could you help me?

I've also created a new post in openpowerlink discussion, please delete it if here is a better place for it.

    Hi Hiroshima,

I looked into the XDD(000003DB_MicroFlex_e100_CN.xdd) and I think we have some parameters missing in the XDD.

    In 1F98 entries
    Sub index 01 IsochrTxMaxPayload_U16
    Sun index 02 IsochrRxMaxPayload_U16

doesn't specify the default value for this indexes which results in error in XDD-check utility.

Kindly add the default values and check again.

    Powerlink-team

    Hi,

Please report this issue also to ABB / Baldor Motion. As the manufacturer of the device, they are responsible for providing a correct and valid xdd file.

    Best regards,
    Wolfgang

    Hi Guillaume and Hiroshima

I'm very sorry to hear you're having a problem with one of our xdd files. Our resident EPL xdd expert is not in the office today but he is aware of your problems and will be investigating as soon as he is back, hopefully on Monday. It would be very useful if you could report this problem to our technical support team via email - motionsupport.uk@baldor.abb.com
We can then raise a ticket and contact you back directly with a solution.

Many thanks for letting us know.

    Regards,
    Mike
