    Hello
When I build the project in openConfigurator.there shows a message "The number of Channels has exceeded than the defined value for the MN"

What is channels? How could I modify the number?

    Hi,

The PDO_TxCommParam & PDO_TxMappParam pair is collectively known as a TPDO channel. Similarly for RPDO channel.

In openCONFIGURATOR version 1.2.2 the MN has 4 TPDO channels configured by default. You can increase the number of TPDO channels by changing the value of "MNFeatures - PDOTPDOChannels" option in the MN xdd that you are using. The maximum number of TPDO channels is 256 for MN.

Please try this and let us know.

      Hi,

I copyed the openPOWERLINK-V1.08.2/CfmProjects/Demo_3CN directory and built the project. It seem that no MN xdd file exists for this project.

    Hello Simon,

The MN xdd is available at the below given path,

    openPOWERLINK-V1.08.2\openPOWERLINK-V1.08.2\CfmProjects\Demo_3CN\octx\240.octx

openCONFIGURATOR saves the xdd files with 'node number' as the name and '.octx' as the extension.
