#318 Request: Webm video support
It would be nice if I could directly record in webm, rather than having to transcode it before I can upload it to Wikipedia. They currently don't accept mp4 videos, and I'm unaware of a transcoding method that doesn't lose at least some quality, and a significant amount of time.

Thanks - I'd started looking at this, but couldn't get it to work on my devices, see https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/blog/2017/01/version-136/#0c71 .
WebM now supported for next version. Unfortunately I couldn't get audio (Vorbis) to work with this on any of my devices, this seems to be not yet possible on Android: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/media-formats#audio-formats .
