Open Camera could be fully translated into Brazilian Portuguese, since I translated version 1.56.2 and emailed the files to Mark Harman on the 5th of this month, but I haven’t received a reply.

Just look at the forum and such to see how often he replies. If you were getting emails every day and replying to everything, you probably wouldn't be waiting a few months for updates—it would be more like two years or even longer.
