#1252 Register as default camera application

Some potentially useful info:

Applications have the ability to open the default camera application (or chose from a list) to permit a photo to be embedded into their application directly.

On my Android 13 FairPhone, no applications can see Open Camera

Can this be configured? AFAIK this is less to do with the application coding and more about the application's manifest file? Not an Android developer, so just repeating info I read elsewhere.

I'm afraid Google removed the ability to choose a third party camera from another application (I think around Android 11ish?) If you're seeing a list, I think this is only possible if that other camera application specifically references particular camera apps.
