#1071 SHARP MANUAL FOCUS goes out of focus on capture
i have been using this app for a while, and it's pretty great.
I have discovered a problem tho. I have always, in the past, used auto focus. I just recently started TRYING to use manual focus.
Here's the problem. I manually focus the viewfinder to by crystal clear sharp in focus.
Then WITHOUT MOVING the camera/phone, i press the shutter button/tap the screen/press a volume button
and when i look at the resultant photo it's wildly out of focus.
This happens BOTH when i use full manual focus, AND when i use single point focus.
When i press the shutter to take the picture, before it captures the image, the focus slide WAY out of focus.
What am i doing wrong? Or is this a glitch in open camera, or in the hardware?

This happens to me on a pixel 5 when trying to take an hdr photo
Here to report that this happens to me as well, I am using a Pixel 5a. From what I notice, this happens only when using manual exposure and not when exposure control is set to auto mode. As for the steps to reproduce this, it is exactly as @luke described. Hope we can get some response to this.
