    Hi Mark,
I thank you for your great work!
I just have a little proposal.
As I mentioned at this place (https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/discussion/general/thread/36d89d90/#f572/d2f0) last week, I am missing a manual input setting for the desired video fps.
The preselection of possible values is very restricted. If you want to keep these for most of the users, you could just add another manual input at the end of the list.
I'm personally not interested in setting values bigger than default but maybe someone else want the try to get the most out of their camera in less big steps for their slow-motion recordings.
I'm interested in very small fps which shouldn't be a problem (see my post from last week). These would be a nice and compact source of time-lapse recordings. Not having to deal with tenth of thousands of single photo files which normally also use up much more memory than the resulting time-lapse video would be a nice second option to have.

Thanks in advance for this hopefully only small addition!

I second this. It would be nice to have the ability to dial in 1 fps for time lapses or 48fps for video. Of course even some of the pre selections on my pixel 2 XL do not work even when the phone supports it. I cannot record 1080p 120fps even though my phone does it in the default app nor can I do 60fps but its possible the pixel 2 is so new that it just doesnt work yet.

    Hi Mark,
I'm the thread opener from last year.
I want to thank you for introducing the quick-setting of the recording speed. It greatly reduces file sizes when recording time-lapses in video.
But I like to record longer running time-lapses as well. Therefor your maximum setting of 60x is not sufficient!
E.g. I like to record the growth of a plant for one whole week and then create a time-lapse of one minute length from it. That would be a "speed" of 10080x.
I see that this would be an inappropriate extension of the given range (2x to 60x). That's the reason why I would love to see the possibility of a manual input (fps or speed, doesn't matter).
I also don’t care if the output file was always set the some fixed fps value (like the default 30 fps) if it would be a problem to change this. I will normally push the recording through ffmpeg to further decrease the size (and set the desired framerate).
