Presently, OC lets me prepend text to photo filenames. I really like to sort photos in date-time format, as in YYYY-MM-DD HHMMSS [cam-name], where cam-name identifies the image source. For example, in the case of Open Camera, it might be "2018-06-07 134956 OC" or similar. I use a batch file renamer (pyRenamer) with my Canon cameras, based on EXIF data, but batch renaming gets tedious for smartphone images transferred through Google Photos. Love your app, though, anyway!
Cheers, Al

After a long hiatus, I just revisited OpenCamera -- with the SDcard document storage apparently worked out (fingers crossed!), the remaining 'deal breaker' for me is this missing option for creating photo-naming templates.
For consideration, such templates should include a variety of options that allow users to match what OC generates to their already existing, often extensive, collections.
E.g., I've 10K's of photos/videos that use a naming convention of
YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS<_uniq>.
where "_uniq" is a 2-digit sequential number string to accommodate burst images taken multiple/sec.
Everybody's got their own favorite, to be sure ...
imo, a generally well thought-out option for variety in naming schemas is that in KDE's Digikam:
In the meantime, seems I spoke too soon re: SDcard document storage being 'worked out' :-(, so need to figure that out.

I would like a panorama picture capture option. The LG Stylo 2 V built in camera has this option, but the rest of the camera options are to basic to make it useable.

I've added this idea to my todo.

hth, and really do look forward to the appearance of such a feature.
Thanks for the suggestion/link, I'll take a look at that.
Great, Thanks.

Hello. Any news on this one? Seems to be a popular request, also here:
Thanks for considering.
