The camera (or video) button used to rotate following the phone position. This was quite useful because it allows you to make sure the camera has switched from portrait to landscape. This visual help is essential when you take a photo nearly parallel to the ground to make sure the photo will come out as you are planning.
Was the button rotation deliberately removed or is this a bug/regression?
