Hello everyone. Im new to using open camera but have a lot of experience with filmic pro and cinema 4k. Open camera is actually really really really good. I am shocked that its free. I just can't get it to record anything above 30 fps. Any tips? I was trying 1080p 60fps. Also any future updates that would allow adjusting contrast, sharpness and saturation?

I am having the same problem. More than a little upset about it, too, because I need to get around the file size limits so I can record longer videos. It's one of the biggest reasons I got this phone. And being able to increase the bit rate is nice as well.

Still not getting 60 fps, even with the Camera2 option.
What's worse is that now I'm no longer able to record at a resolution higher than 1080p. Not sure when it changed. When I first noticed it had changed itself from 2.7k to 1080p, I looked in the settings, and 1080p was the highest resolution available. I went into the stock camera app, changed it from 1080p to 4k, then went back into Open Camera, and was able to see higher resolutions. But those options went away again, I can't get them back even following the same steps. It's stuck at no higher than 1080p.
Thank you

I just installed "HD Camera" by Cingdy. Turns out it's just a rebadged Open Camera. It even saves files to the OpenCamera folder. Still no 60 fps, but it does let me select higher resolutions.
I completely deleted all Open Camera data and reinstalled it, still no higher resolutions. I uninstalled it again, then installed whatever version is available in F-Droid (instead of the Play store), and now I have the option for higher resolutions again.

Which version do you now have (see Settings/About)?
Note that setting Video frame rate to 60fps or higher may now (in v1.43 onwards) limit the available resolutions (since high speed frame rates aren't supported at higher resolutions).
Do/did 120fps work any better at getting that frame rate?

The version from F-droid is 1.42.2.
The version from Play is 1.43.3.
I went back to v 1.43.3.
I did find that with 1080p120 ends up actually being 116 fps.
Recording 1080p96 ends up being 92 fps.
Recording at 1080p60 ends up being 28 fps.
Setting framerate to 24 fps brought back the options for higher resolutions. I set it to 2.7k and then changed it back to 30 fps and it seems to want to hold that, but I haven't recorded at that yet to confirm. I have to stop testing for now, but will see what else I can figure out.
Thanks.

Yes, unfortunately there seems to be no way to enforce exact/constant frame rates in resultant video (although 28fps for 60 seems way off, so not sure why that is!)
It's possible the resolutions got restricted before due to being in a high speed frame rate (it should show a ">>" icon on-screen when in ths mode), I'm not sure why reinstalling this the first time didn't fix that though.

The latest version (1.43.3) should have better support for custom frame rates, but please make sure Settings/"Use Camera2 API" is enabled for this.
