When using OpenCamera (which I find to be an excellent app!) to copy B&W or, especially, colour photo negatives it would be good if the on-screen preview could be rendered as a positive. Even better would be to be able to save as a positive!

In Open Camera there is the setting 'Color effect...' where, in some Android phones, one of the options is 'Negative'. It is down below in the dialog that opens from the ⠇-icon. (But not all phones support it).
I must say that I would never convert film negatives using any smartphone camera (and the same with digicams). Their quality is not even close to good enough for that task. Just my 2p, what ever you do, do keep the negatives, storing them properly.
