Greetings, I am working on a graduation project to perform a private network using OpenBTS with an SDR NI2920. I have written an image to it to be shown as N210 on Ubuntu virtual machine 16.04. I followed the instructions for building the OpenBTS software, and for the first setup, the two-party SMS was working well, but the call was not working. Therefore, I installed a new Ubuntu virtual machine and built it for N210 from the start. However, the two-party SMS doesn't work now. When trying to send an SMS, I receive the message "Can't send your SMS to 20230001: Phone not registered here." Additionally, when trying to receive an SMS, I get the message "No global relay defined, bouncing message intended for 20230001." The system can transmit and receive from the same IMSI if there is contact between the handset and the network. However, when attempting to send an SMS between two handsets, the system returns the message "IMSI failed." Please note that the IMSI works if I am sending from OpenBTS or to OpenBTS. I am using OpenBTS version master in both setups, and for each setup, I am using the same IP address, N210 image, and handsets. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in troubleshooting this issue and help me get the SMS functionality working properly. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, Yosef Sami |
