I am using a Microsoft Surface 3 tablet, with i7 CPU, but also with the previously used MS Surface 1 i5 it worked without problems. OpenBTS does not use too much resources. For USB3 support you need to use latest VMWare release, and it has to be enabled in the settings of the virtual machine. Ralph. What is the specifications of your tablet? And just wondering, i've try to use my B200 on virtual machine, the vm detect it but downgrade the speed to USB 2, while i plug it to USB 3 port on a physical machine. Is it normal or there some steps i've missed? Thanks On Tue, Jun 16, 2015 at 8:31 PM, Ralph A. Schmid, dk5ras <ra...@sc... <mailto:ra...@sc...> > wrote: I am using OpenBTS on a virtual machine only! Not virtual box what at least did not work two years ago, but VMWare is the way to go :) My setup is a Windows 8 tablet PC, VMWare with Kubuntu 14.04 with gnuradio, OpenBTS, OpenLTE and all the other stuff that makes fun.
