This is exactly what I want to achieve but unable to do .
I have created entry of my IMSI using nmcli successfully and  disabled OpenRegistration, but still other users are registering. Somehow OpenRegistration is not disabled by running unconfig  Control.LUR.OpenRegistration in version 5 CLI that I am running. Is there any other parameter that is required to be changed in order to disable this.
Also, please let me know that whether the ./nmcli works dynamically or we have to compile openbts again after creating entries in this.Please let me know if some other changes are required to register this IMSI i.e. changes in sip.conf or any config parameter of OpenBTS too inaddition to running nmcli?

Hi,

You can use nmcli (in openbts/NodeManager) to register your sim using the imsi 
./nmcli.py sipauthserve subscribers create "nameofthephone" IMSItheimsi Ki
IMSItheimsi example : IMSI33009000005001
Ki is optional.
Then disable OpenRegistration.
Only this registered imsi should be able to register to your network.
