[Openbts-discuss] Chinese manufacturers for custom GSM frequency ranges?

Hi,

Are there any experiences with manufacturers for cellphones with custom
frequency range, in smaller quantities? It may make research easier when I
already know whom to ask :)

We are trying to get our GSM-HAM430 project forward, trying to get the
frequencies into the band plan conferences, defining the regulatory
outlines...

And are there already projects for doing a GSM-ME in SDR? Would be very
helpful for the proof of concept demonstrations... At the moment we have the
idea, the infrastructure, but no ME. Maybe we need hack some transverter
together, to show the system with a standard cellphone and transverter and
OpenBTS.
