You can get them from Sysmocom, I believe they are pretty popular around here.

There are other sources but I cannot vouch for those: Supersim, magicsim etc.

 

The Sysmocom cards work, I used them succesfully (except a black sheep in my batch which won't get programmed).

 

Beware, it can take up to a month and a half to deliver them though.

I’m working on project that utilize OpenBTS as data pipe for a PoC (prove of concept). I will try it on GPRS then ultimately on 3G-UMTS.

I was able to config my OpenBTS in which enable two android mobile phone communicate each other via SMS. I was using my spare (operator) SIM Cards, MCC/MNC: 510/10 and 510/01.

However, according ebook “Getting Started With OpenBTS”, APN setting on Android based smartphone could not be done. I have tried and resulting same as describe on it.

 

Furthermore, 3G-UMTS OpenBTS need SIM Card with known ‘Ki’ value.

 

So, my first question is what kind of SIM Card that I need to working on GPRS & 3G-UMTS OpenBTS? Is Test SIM Card the answer for my problem?

 

Secondly, would you kindly tell me where could I buy them? I have google & search them in Amazon/Ebay, but  no “Test SIM Card” come out.
