It would be a _great_ feature to have the choice between entering a band and an ARFCN, and simply uplink and downlink frequencies in MHz. This would allow tests with weird frequency setups without having to mess around in the code. Ralph. But it wouldn't be too hard to modify the code to add this capability. Most of the work would be modifying tables, symbolic constants, and bounds-checking. You would also need to modify the transceiver a bit, for tuning and gain parameters, but as long as your radio supports the 450 MHz band, then it should work. There are no handsets for the 450 MHz, or at least that I'm aware of, not since the 1990s. Although the 450 MHz band was one of the original bands defined for GSM, there was very little use of it, and I don't think it's used anymore, although it's one of the UMTS bands (Band 31). What is your application? Are you trying to re-use an old NMT band? --Neel On 26 January 2015 at 12:46, fadi atallah <fad...@gm... <mailto:fad...@gm...> > wrote: Hi, Is there any way to simulate a cellular system with openBTS on the 450MHZ? I researched about USRP that allows GSM over 450Mhz but i couldn't find a mobile phone that supports GSM 450Mhz, all i could find is CDMA 450Mhz phones. Can these CDMA phones be used or can they be adjusted in some way to simulate this system. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming.
