#2 Maximum desired PWM Value leads to pulsing motor behaviour

during normal dirve everything is fine unless "maximun" speed is requetsted and the top maximum pwm value is not defined.
the motor speed ramps up to high speed then reduces to speed, speeds up again and so on.
suggestion: the maximum used value for PWM is above 254.
