#27 Add a character picker dialog to aid the input of 'non-standard' characters

Add a 'character picker' dialog to the application to aid the input of 'non-standard' characters for users with an English keyboard.

This dialog would be opened from either the menubar or from a keyboard shortcut and would allow the user to select from a menu of symbols and characters which would then be inserted into the grid at the cursor position.

It should allow for the insertion of multiple characters at a time.
