I must admit, I'm not familiar with Schachtschneider coordinates. A  
google search suggested it's a type of normal mode analysis, so you  
need a particular format for the z-matrix. Correct?

No, there is no support for particular styles of z-matrix, although if  
you could find a description of the normal mode scheme for  
Schachtschneider, it could probably be implemented.
